The First Baptist Belton Connection & Care Ministry exists to foster a Christ-centered supportive community where individuals can connect with others and receive care through life's hardships and moments of joy. Through various events, service opportunities, Bible studies, and personalized support, we strive to create a space where people feel valued, loved, and supported on their spiritual journey.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sundays at 10:30 am

Early Bird Class at 7:30 am

We offer a variety of Sunday school classes for our Senior Adults here at First Baptist Belton! Classes included a range of younger to older seniors, some mixed together, and some separated by age range.

VOLUNTEER TEAMS

There are many ways you can serve on our FBB Connection & Care team. Volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Sunday morning greeter duty
Ministry visits/lunch with homebound church members
Parking crew shuttle drivers)

EVENTS

SENIOR ADULT LUNCHEONS

The Senior Adult Ministry hosts monthly and holiday luncheons in various formats to enable our seniors to fellowship and enjoy various speakers and entertainment. This is a great time to bring friends to enjoy and get to know our ministry and its participants.

SENIOR SERVE DAY

Each month our Senior Sunday school classes rotate to serve our community through The Love of Christ Center in Temple, followed by lunch together at a local restaurant.

MINISTRY VISITS & LUNCH

Each month our Sunday school classes rotate to load the vans and visit our fellow senior adults who may be currently homebound, recovering from an injury, or in a local care center. Depending on the season, we my just visit, sing together, or bring a small gift to our friends to encourage them. After our visits, we enjoy lunch together at a local restaurant before returning to the church.

HYMN SING

Our senior adults gather a few times each year for a great time of worship and fun featuring our favorite classic hymns. These events are open to the community.

BREAKFAST & GAMES

Every couple of months we meet to share our brunch dishes and fellowship over some friendly game-playing. Friends are welcome!

DAY TRIPS

Several times per year our Senior Adult Ministry hosts day trips to events, tourist destinations, concerts, or theater performances of interest to our members.
